Clothing and Diaper Drive
October 19, 2025 from 9am-1pm at Island Beach Pavilion
The Town Club of Mountain Lakes hosts a fall and spring Clothing and Diaper Drive which benefits Moms Helping Moms, a non-profit foundation that provides diapers and baby essentials to under-resourced families throughout New Jersey. We also partner with Helpsy to recycle and re-use all sizes of clothing, textiles, garments, suitcases, pillows, stuffed animals, and more!
Children’s clothing under size 5T and other baby and children’s items are donated directly to Moms Helping Moms.
Please package adult clothing, textiles, shoes, accessories separate from clothing under 5T and baby items as they are donated to separate places!

Adopt-a-Family for the Holidays!
For over ten years, the Town Club of Mountain Lakes has partnered with Saint Clare’s Hospital Prenatal Healthstart Clinic to bring a gift-filled holiday to local families in need. These young families are so appreciative of the joy we deliver through this program. In 2024, the Mountain Lakes community sponsored over 40 families providing necessities like coats, clothing, food store gift cards, baby items, and toys for young children.
Stay tuned for more information for the 2025 holiday season. Dates and information will be posted here. If you would like to ensure you receive information about the 2025 Adopt A Family campaign, you can also email townclubml07046@gmail.com to be placed on our mailing list.
How does Adopt A Family work?
Adopt an individual or an entire family! As the holidays approach, volunteers are matched with a person or family. Volunteers receive the person or family’s wish list via email and shop for the much-needed items on their wish list. Parents often ask for clothing items and food store gift cards and children ask for clothing, shoes, and a toy or two. Items are purchased, wrapped, labeled, and dropped off in Mountain Lakes all by the volunteer.
Transport the (many) festively wrapped gifts! The wrapped gifts are then transported from Mountain Lakes to Saint Clare’s Dover Hospital for distribution in early December by Town Club volunteers. Spanish speakers are especially needed.
Donate any monetary amount! If you are unable to purchase items for a family, we also accept monetary donations which are used to purchase gift cards to food stores and discount stores to be distributed by the clinic to their patients as needed. These gift cards are used to purchase food, diapers, formula, and medications.
